The Lending Closet is a community store that the creatives will be able to use to redeem credits that they have earned by performing at local non-profit organizations, fundraisers, and benefits free of charge. Help us support the musicians the way that they help support our community through The Lending Closet.
What Inspired The Lending Closet?
Locally, many of our talented musicians share their talents with multiple non-profit organizations, fundraisers, and benefits free of charge. Acadiana is known for helping one another and our local musicians showcase this trait on numerous occasions throughout their careers.
Yet for various reasons, most of our local musicians must travel in order to achieve a more secure musical career. These local musicians serve as ambassadors for our Acadian community by sharing our culture with millions of people around the world and we want to support them helping them put their best foot forward.
Musicians offering their talents may receive vouchers where they can "purchase" items in the Closet.
Below is a list of items we are currently looking to replenish.
Please note that we are currently NOT accepting clothing or food donations.
