Explore Our Initiatives: Experience the Ripple Effect of Compassion

At Love of People, we craft Community Impact Initiatives that forge a meaningful connection between Local Businesses and the communities they are an integral part of.

Our projects are more than just initiatives; they are collaborative ventures. We join forces with dedicated community organizers in our local neighborhoods to magnify our impact.

Furthermore, these initiatives act as a selection process, ensuring that the individuals actively involved are passionate about the very communities they call home.

Ultimately, our efforts are the cornerstone of building profound relationships. We reach out to individuals, families, and businesses who are not just residents but true champions of the communities we serve. It's about cultivating a shared passion for making our communities thrive.

Now in its 8th year, Williams Bros Diaper Drive (Formerly Julian's Diaper Drive) serves as a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the community while also instilling important values in children.

Connecting local businesses with the communities they serve. We strive to identify areas in our community that are most in need and, working together, utilize our most valuable resource - our culture - to uplift and strengthen our entire community.

Creating a non-judgmental community event that offers Christmas Spirit and opportunities.  Offering people who live in underserved communities the mechanisms to connect to various job opportunities and support structures.

Providing life care services for the aging, retired, and elder musicians and artists in our community,  The event is a fabulous night of music with a top-notch house band that features some of Acadiana's musical treasures.

Zeno Fest began in 2019 to help raise money for Grammy Award Winning Bass Player, Lee Allen Zeno who was battling cancer at the time. Now, Zeno Fest is a way to honor and highlight some of the best musicians in South Louisiana through an annual concert.

A community store where the creatives are able to redeem credits that they have earned by performing at local non-profit organizations, fundraisers, and benefits free of charge.  Help us support the musicians the way that they help support our community through The Lending Closet.

It is with great pleasure that we present Love of People's Fight Fest—a benevolent initiative dedicated to bringing essential local support and resources to Acadiana's residents who are courageously battling diseases like Dementia and Parkinson's, along with their devoted caregivers.

Launched in 1992 as a way to raise funds for the Lafayette Catholic Service Center, the event later evolved to support other local charities. Eventually Cajun Comic Relief into an independent nonprofit. Since its inception, the event has raised over $1.5 million for charitable causes.
